Created exclusively for La Triennale, EDI captures the soul of Italian design history through a bespoke fragrance housed in a vessel inspired by Giovanni Muzio’s Palazzo dell’Arte, masterfully designed by Astrid Luglio. Currently featured in the STORIES exhibition at the Triennale Design Museum under Chiara Alessi’s curation.

EDI emerged from a singular vision: to translate the essence of Italian design heritage into olfactory form. This unisex fragrance invites both contemplation and appreciation of design principles. As an artisanal perfume, it narrates a continuing story of craftsmanship—a scent that bridges tradition with innovation, expertise with experimentation, distilling into a single creation the essence of design that has elevated Italy to greatness.

The composition opens with volatile, sparkling, ethereal top notes that reflect the functionality and clean minimalism that have made Italian design internationally revered.

Its heart unfolds with delicate petals, blossoms, and gray amber, embodying the graceful contours, harmonious proportions, and seductive emotional qualities that define the aesthetic.

The foundation rests on evocative notes of leather, wood, and metal—grounding elements that honor the historical significance of Italian design and the uncompromising quality of its locally crafted treasures.
